SiteAdvisor is a free product that comes as a standalone plugin that runs with your browsers or an integrated module within a McAfee security suite you may have purchased. Depending on which of the two you have the instructions for uninstalling will be different. It can be installed on Google chrome, Internet explore and Firefox.

Even though it is not a big issue to remove Site advisor, but it can slow down your browsers. You can easily remove it from extensions and disable it. Alternatively you can remove it from Program and Feature in Control panel. Make sure all the browsers are closed on your computer. Now go into the Add and remove program.
