How to Reset Microsoft Edge Browser

Through Settings 

Click on the three horizontal dots to open the settings. From the upper right corner.

 

 

Now scroll down and select “Choose what to clear” under clear browser data section.

Reset Microsoft Edge Through PowerShell

 

There is also a pro method if in case above method didn’t solve the problem. You can reset the browser using power shell and it will delete and reset the system Microsoft Edge files. But before proceeding any further create a backup or alternatively you can create a restore point.

First open the following command in RUN and delete everything from the folder

C:\Users\%username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe

Next

Now open power shell using administrative privileges. Enter the following command and run it

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” -Verbose}

Now your browser is completely reset.
